This year has already proven to have many defining trends, and the world of weddings is no exception! This month we will be unpacking some of these must-see trends, and the first one on the list is color palettes! In 2022, lighter colors and monochromatic themes are the most-loved colors for weddings!

Weddings in 2021 saw a lot of muted, dark tones in the color palettes. This year, colors are getting brighter and lighter in the wedding world. Greens are popular colors for 2022, going alongside the rising trend for greenery in the wedding venue and decor. Light blues and pinks are also popular colors for this year! Lastly, don’t be shy to bring back some bright colors this year! We’re seeing these vibrant trends return!
As for the monochromatic trend, this is most commonly used with the muted, earthy tones. Monochromatic weddings are ones that use mostly one color with different shades of that one color. This look creates a dreamy wedding look by incorporating calming and simple colors. A little tip for a monochromatic wedding: send a color palette to your guests with the dress code, to ensure your wedding comes together the way you envision!
